       Magnesium sulfate is a white powder mainly used in the pharmaceutical industry, printing and dyeing industry, as well as for gymnasts and weightlifters to apply anti slip "white powder" on their hands.

       1. Magnesium sulfate can be prepared by hot melt leaching method. To use this method, first pour the magnesium sulfate mother liquor into the immersion apparatus. It should be noted that the concentration of the magnesium sulfate mother liquor is 30g/100ml, and then add the mixed salt solution into the immersion apparatus. The volume ratio of these two solutions is 2:1, and it is also important to note that the mixed salt solution should contain less than 30% MgSO4 and less than 35% sodium chloride. The above two solutions should be left at a temperature of 45-50 ℃ for 4 hours. After 4 hours, the clear solution after removing NaCl should be cooled and crystallized at around 5 ℃, washed, filtered, and dried to obtain magnesium sulfate monohydrate, and then dried to obtain anhydrous magnesium sulfate.

       2. Recrystallization method. To use this method, a certain amount of industrial magnesium sulfate is first placed in a dissolution tank, poured into water, and left for about two hours. The precipitated heavy metal sulfate is filtered and removed, and the filtrate is concentrated, cooled, crystallized, and centrifuged. Then, the above magnesium sulfate is placed in a container for drying and dehydration to obtain anhydrous magnesium sulfate.
